One bird had flown the road before.
She said: I know the way. Fly with me.

Your guide
Like the hoopoe, she has flown this road before.
I’ve walked the road of personal growth since my teens, learning in Iran, Malaysia, Nepal, Canada and the US. With all of that, I still say: the road of awareness never ends. It’s waking up, again and again.
But the road was long, and the nights were cold.
And every bird found a reason to stay.

Travellers left a few words for the ones still coming.
Fellow travellers

I started with Sheida in a time of grief, when my connection to life had broken. We began with slow steps. Sheida is like a friend, a companion you don’t need a mask with. She listens, without judgement, in a safe space.

When I wrote on the balloons and gave them to the sky, I felt lighter, and I felt well.

In these six months I realised that everything starts within us. I learned to be at peace with myself, and to enjoy my life in the moment.

It was wonderful, dear Sheida. It gave me such a good feeling. Already I feel I’ve fallen in love with myself.

For years I had been looking for my purpose in this world. You listened so kindly, stayed beside me, and showed it to me with such skill.

Today was my third time meditating with you. I couldn’t take the smile off my face. The first time I had to hold it there; today it seemed to have gone right into me.
